Welcome to my campaign page for Solano County Supervisor, District 5.
You may know me in my role as a school board president, pastor, mentor, or domestic violence prevention advocate.
In my years of service in Solano County, I’ve proven that I’m a leader who gets things done, who takes care of my community, and who understands that public service is about tackling the tough challenges and making a real difference in peoples’ lives.
In 2020, I’m running for Solano County Supervisor, because that’s where I can most effectively continue the work we’ve started: to make Solano County a place of hope and opportunity that we know is possible.
I believe in making a positive difference in my community. The county is where many social service programs are run, and we need someone in office who understands what the process of transforming lives for the better entails and what needs to be changed.
As your Supervisor, I will work on building bridges between city and county governments and the many nonprofit organizations doing great work in Solano County. I believe that by working as partners, we can make a more significant impact on those whom we serve. Together, we can help our neighbors navigate the system and feel like they’re being heard by the people entrusted to look out for them.
You can learn more about my work in our community on my about page. If you’re here to support my campaign by volunteering and/or donating, thank you! You can also see my growing list of endorsements here, and I invite you to sign up for periodic campaign e-mail updates.
If you’re still making up your mind in this election, thanks for visiting, and I hope to see you at a community event soon. Leadership matters, and you deserve a Supervisor who will lead with integrity and fight for you.
With deep gratitude,
David C. Isom
Candidate, Solano County Board of Supervisors, District 5
